WHEREAS, the Women Democrats of Sacramento County believe there are basic rights every woman is entitled to, including protection
of civil liberties, reproductive choice, access to health care, a clean and safe environment, to receive a living wage for
work performed and to live in dignity.
WHEREAS, the Women Democrats of Sacramento County believe our elected officials are responsible for ensuring these basic
rights we will support and actively work to elect those officials.
THEREFORE, to ensure these rights are available for future generations, the Women Democrats of Sacramento County will
actively promote and advocate for local, State and national legislation that provides and protects these rights.
